Matt Jennings
I was born in Kamloops, BC and grew up in the small town of Little Fort, BC. Little Fort is roughly a 1 hour drive North of Kamloops at the junction of Hwy 24 “Fishing Highway” and Hwy 5.
Fly Fishing has been in my blood since day one as my father, Steve Jennings, has guided and owned fly shops in the Interior for over 25 years.
I graduated with Majors in Marketing and Economics from Thompson River University in 2006 and did a semester abroad in Manchester England where I studied Sports Economics.
Shortly after graduation I started a Web Development and Marketing Business. My clients have included Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD), District of Clearwater, District of Logan Lake, Tourism Wells Gray, Simpcw First Nation, Canim Lake Indian Band, Surplus Herbys, and River City Realty. I also spent 3 seasons in a marketing position for the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club.
I currently reside in Kamloops, BC where I live with my wife Simone and son Reid. When I am not out on the water fishing I enjoy camping, golf, and traveling to tropical destinations (mostly to fish).
